Air handling unit with a plate (counterflow) heat exchanger
GOLD PX is a fully equipped air handling unit with a counterflow heat exchanger “RECOflow”, direct drive supply and exhaust air fans, and filters. The counterflow heat exchanger with separate airflows is especially recommended where mixing of supply and exhaust air is not desirable, such as in kitchens and restaurants.

- Optimized fan sizes provide greater freedom in selecting the right air handling unit size and fan variants to meet installation needs. This also offers even greater opportunities to optimize the energy efficiency of the current project.
Unique, efficient, and safe counterflow heat exchanger
With high-quality equipment and smart control, Swegon GOLD PX can achieve excellent energy recovery, despite its compact size. The solution is to combine an efficient counterflow heat exchanger RECOflow with the innovative defrosting control RECOfrost, which continuously monitors the state of the heat exchanger, ensuring that defrosting occurs adaptively in real-time. In this way, energy losses are always minimized to the lowest possible level.
All ventilation units comply with the requirements set out in Ecodesign Regulation No. 1253 regarding ventilation units.
